The terms for SPOC Energy, Inc. equipment alert messages.
These terms cover the text message, voice and email alerts SPOC Energy, Inc. sends about monitored equipment. They apply to anyone enrolled as an alert contact. They do not replace the agreement between SPOC Energy, Inc. and its customer for the equipment or monitoring service itself.
We send an alert when monitored equipment reports a fault, when a measured value crosses an alarm limit configured by the customer, or when a unit stops communicating. We also send reminders for alerts that have not been acknowledged, and a message when a condition clears. No marketing or promotional messages are sent through this programme.
A number is enrolled only after the contact has agreed to receive these messages. Agreement is obtained by the customer's administrator and recorded in the customer portal, with the name of the person who confirmed it and the date and time.
Message frequency varies and depends entirely on equipment conditions. Messages are not sent on a schedule, and most contacts receive none on a typical day. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. SPOC Energy, Inc. does not charge for the messages themselves.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. You will receive one confirmation, and no further messages will be sent to that number. A customer administrator can also remove a contact at any time in the portal.
Reply HELP for help, or contact us on 844-776-2833.
An alert can be acknowledged by replying with the code shown in the message. Acknowledging records that somebody has seen the notification and stops reminders for that alert. It does not change the state of the equipment, does not clear the underlying condition, and is not an instruction to the equipment.
Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and on network availability. Messages may be delayed or not delivered, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. These alerts are a convenience and must not be relied upon as the only means of monitoring equipment, as a safety system, or as a substitute for on-site checks, alarms or emergency procedures.
This programme is available on supported carriers in the United States, to contacts nominated by a SPOC Energy, Inc. customer. It is not intended for anyone under 18.
We may update these terms. The date below is when they were last reviewed. Continuing to receive messages after a change means the current terms apply; you can stop at any time by replying STOP.
